Noelle Swan

Noelle Swan is a freelance journalist, based in Boston and specializing in science and the environment. Noelle earned a liberal arts degree from Harvard University in natural sciences and environmental studies. Much of her course work focused on environmental management. She served as an intern for GreenAnswers, where she researched and responded to environmental questions posed by the public.

Prior to becoming a journalist, Noelle taught preschool for 12 years. As a teacher, she cultivated a specialty for teaching science to very young children. She offers a workshop for teachers on ways to integrate nature into the classroom and curriculum in urban environments.
